Talbot 신학 대학원에서 목회상담학 (MA, 1999)과 Cal State Long Beach 대학원에서 Clinical Social Work (MSW, 2001)을 공부했다. 졸업후 LA County 아동과 가정 복지국 에서 아동학대와 가정회복에 대한 전문가로 (Children Social Worker) 로 25 년간 일해 오고 있다.
남편과 함께 세운 전문 목회 상담 기관, Family Saver Center (2005) 를 통해 청소년 데이트 세미나, 부부 교육, 대화 교육 등을 미국 정부 인준 커리큘럼으로 미주 한인 1000 이상에게 교육해 오고 있다.
2010 년 부터 미주 복음 방송 강사로 칼럼을 소개해 왔으면, “건강한 자아세우기” 프로그램을 소개하고, 청, 장년 성도들 에게 그리스도인이기 전에 한 인간으로 건강한 생각과 감정을 갖는 인격교육을 해오고 있다.
현젠, 그리스도인의 성숙한 성장(성화) 를 위한 연구와 교육에 집중하며 대화교육 프로그램 & 커리큘럼들을 개발하고 있다. 또한 Licensed Clinical Social Worker 로 private practice 를 통해 청소년과 부부 전문 상담을 하고 있다.
